What challenge, problem or motivation inspired you to make one small change?
Collaboration in a virtual classroom – students are not required to attend and/or can participate asynchronously
Tell us about your one small change:
I developed a “lesson takeover” using Google slides where students worked in small groups to research and report on 10 Rules for Creating Effective Online Content. Students populated and reported back on the lesson and then used what they had learned in an individual assignment where they were to create an infographic to demonstrate understanding and application. The subject of the infographic was to communicate the concept of academic integrity to college students.
What was the result of your one small change?
Students loved the exercise and the end result were some pretty incredible infographics that will be shared with our marketing department as inspiration and/or for future use.
