Communities of Practice

Communities of Practice are spaces to gather and discuss trends, opportunities, and challenges around common interest topics. We currently have two active Communities of Practice at Cambrian: the Artificial Intelligence CoP and the Mathematics CoP. Membership in either community is flexible and open, allowing different individuals to participate in meetings and activities based on their availability. All Cambrian faculty, staff, and admin are welcome to join!

Have an idea for an additional Community of Practice? Let us know!

Artificial Intelligence Community of Practice (AI CoP) 🤖

The AI CoP meets monthly in a FLEX format to exchange knowledge, explore new ideas, discuss challenges, and share innovative applications of AI in teaching, research, and more. The CoP discusses Generative AI tools and the opportunities and challenges they present. Meetings typically involve time for members to share an idea, tip, question or innovative way they’ve used GenAI in their class, work, research, or other area.
