YuJa Panorama – Moodle Accessibility

What is YuJa Panorama?

YuJa Panorama is a digital accessibility platform that identifies accessibility issues within Moodle content and offers tools to remediate them.

  • Faculty can use Panorama to check their digital course content for accessibility issues, highlighting areas for improvement and offering recommendations to ensure all contents meet AODA accessibility standards. They can also correct many issues directly in Moodle.
  • Students can use Panorama to generate alternative formats of course materials, such as audio, ePub, Braille, or accessible PDFs, allowing them to choose formats that best suit their needs or preferences. This ensures all students can engage with content in a way that supports their learning.

Reviewing Accessibility of Moodle Course Content

  1. Log into Moodle and navigate to your course.
      • YuJa Panorama automatically analyzes the accessibility of uploaded course materials (e.g., PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint files, Excel spreadsheets, HTML pages, and text areas).
  2. Beside each file, you should see a coloured Accessibility Score Indicator.
  3. Click the Indicator to open the Panorama Dashboard.
