Preferred Seating
This accommodation is provided when a student’s functional limitations requires them to have preferential seating in the classroom near the front of the room in order to better hear/see or record.
Faculty Responsibility
- When you receive an accommodation letter, reach out to the student via email to invite a discussion regarding the preferential seating location within the classroom.
Student Responsibility
- It is the student’s responsibility to discuss with the instructor/faculty the preferential seating location within the classroom.
