Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW)

Last week, we hosted our largest Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) to date! As part of the Northern Colleges Collaborative Programming (NCCP) project, we welcomed 15 participants from Cambrian, Collège Boréal, Canadore, Northern, and Sault Colleges for three days of collaborative learning.
The ISW focused on building a supportive learning community where participants strengthened their skills in lesson planning, instructional techniques, reflection, and peer feedback. They built meaningful connections with colleagues from across the North and we are eager to explore future collaborations!
The next ISW will take place during the winter study break, so keep an eye on your inbox (and our Events calendar) for the call for participants in February. Learn more about the ISW on our website.

Welcome, Grace!

We’re excited to introduce Grace McGillivray, the Hub’s newest student intern. Grace is a second-year Graphic Design student and will be working alongside the Hub’s design team on a variety of projects. If you have anything in mind that you’d like assistance with, contact the Hub team at teaching@cambriancollege.ca to get started!
