This guide will help you prioritize what to do first, where to find key tools, and who to contact for support.

Plan Your Course

Set Up Your Cambrian Email (Outlook) Account
All faculty receive a Cambrian Outlook account. Your login details are in your hire letter.
- Log in via Outlook on the Web.
- Use only your Cambrian email to communicate with students
- Check your email regularly for important updates
Sign into myCambrian
myCambrian is your faculty portal. Navigate to the Faculty Dashboard to view your assigned courses.
Here you can:

- My classes: Provides a list of courses assigned to you this term along with the course code, course title, CRN, class list and start and end dates.
- Week at a glance: Displays your timetable.
- Course Outline: Course information about topics, learning outcomes, graded assessments, textbooks, etc.
- Academic Toolbox (ATB): Create your syllabus in the ATB tool or note that it is posted in Moodle.
- Moodle: Cambrian’s online Learning Management System containing course content.
- eGrades: Set up your eGrades template and enter all marks for graded assessments.
- Employee Self Serve: This portal is where you will find your paystubs and T4 Tax forms.
- Cancel my classes: Use this tool to cancel your scheduled classes.
Accessing Your Moodle Course
Moodle is Cambrian’s Learning Management System.
To access:
Log into Moodle directly with your college email and password or use the link in the myCambrian Faculty Dashboard.
If your course is empty:
- You can copy content from a past shell that you taught.
- You can request that content be copied for you by submitting a ticket to the Hub.

Accessing eGrades
eGrades is Cambrian’s official gradebook.
To set up:
- Log into myCambrian
- Click the eGrades icon in the Faculty Dashboard
- Click “Create/View Evaluation Plan”
You must:
- Create a gradebook template for each CRN – multiple CRNs of the same course can be combined
- Enter grades regularly
- Submit final marks by the required deadline
You may copy an existing template if assessments are identical to a previous delivery.

- Schedule classes as recurring meetings
- Use one consistent meeting link
- Sign in with your Cambrian email address
