In a time when adapting to changing educational needs and leveraging technology for learning are more critical than ever, the Teaching & Learning Innovation Hub and TEACH Committee offer you Learning Journeys, an opportunity to come together and showcase our successes and challenges to collectively push the boundaries of what’s possible in education. This is an invitation to share, explore, and collaboratively refine transformative methodologies that are redefining our educational landscape at Cambrian. There are many ways for you to participate, including setting up a showcase booth, delivering a quick lightning talk or an interactive micro-workshop.
This event is a unique opportunity to engage with your peers, learn from their experiences, and contribute to a shared vision for the future of teaching and learning at Cambrian. Don’t miss this chance to be part of the groundbreaking initiatives driving educational transformation and to play a role in shaping the next chapter of our institution’s legacy in innovative education.
Proposal Submissions
Please submit session proposals using the Proposal Submission Form by May 3, 2024. Confirmation of accepted proposal will be provided by May 8, 2024.

We encourage presenters to think creatively and propose sessions that reflect successful practices, insightful research, and practical applications of teaching and learning at Cambrian. Below is a list of topic examples to inspire your proposals:
- Innovative teaching – demonstrate new ways to engage students and enhance the learning experience.
- Educational technologies – showcase the use of advanced tools, including GenAI, in creating interactive and engaging learning environments.
- Authentic assessment strategies – share methods for assessing student learning that are relevant, real-world and/or creative.
- Best practices across modalities – share insights on effective content delivery in classroom, Hyflex/hybrid, and online formats.
- Educational research – share your latest research topic/findings and how they can be practically applied in teaching.
- Partnerships and collaborative projects – highlight how collaborative efforts have enriched the educational experience.
