AI CoP: Artificial Intelligence Community of Practice
April 4 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join with other faculty in our continued discussion on the use of AI and how it impacts our classes, our students, and our own work in this CoP lead by Jessica Joy.
As promised from our first session there will be time for a show and tell … bring your experiences, best practice tips and share with us your learning as you dive into AI!
Still not sure what an A.I. CoP is?
Cambrian’s Artificial Intelligence Community of Practice aims to bring together faculty from all disciplines to discuss and explore the role of artificial intelligence in education. The focus will be on practical topics such as how to responsibly use AI in the classroom, the implications of AI for learning assessment, and what kind of design principles should be considered. Faculty members will have the opportunity to share their experiences of using AI in their courses and to learn from each other. The group will also address the need for increasing digital literacy about AI among faculty and discuss current trends and developments in the field. Whether you’re an AI enthusiast, a seasoned AI expert, or simply curious about AI’s potential in education, this group is the perfect platform for you to engage with like-minded colleagues and stay at the forefront of AI developments.
Our Objectives
