Free Navigation on Tests
This accommodation allows students to freely navigate through different questions in line with recommended test-taking strategies relative to their functional limitations.
Faculty Responsibility
- In Moodle: Duplicate the Quiz (from the course’s Moodle page, click ‘Edit’ next to the Quiz and then ‘Duplicate’:
- Change the settings on the copy of the Quiz to allow ‘free navigation’ and Save.
- Restrict access to the quiz for only the student(s) requiring free navigation.
- Alternatively, set the original quiz settings to allow ‘free navigation’ for all students
Student Responsibility
- It is the student’s responsibility to remind faculty to apply accommodation to upcoming tests at least 5 business days in advance of test.
