Extra Time for Testing
(Double Time; Time and ½; Time and ¼)
This accommodation is provided when a student utilizes assistive technology which takes longer to complete an assessment and/or requires extra time due to functional limitations related to their impairment.
Faculty Responsibility
- In-Person: Refer to Test Centre procedures for booking.
- In Moodle: Add a User Override for the Quiz and increase the time limit, as needed.
Student Responsibility
- It is the student’s responsibility to remind faculty to apply accommodation to upcoming tests at least 5 business days in advance of the test.
