We’re kicking things off with a Moodle 4.1 upgrade on April 25-26. You can get a sneak peek of the upgraded version of Moodle at the final Tech Tuesday on April 23 or drop-in to the Hub for post-upgrade support on April 29 and 30.
Join us for Fender’s AI Adventure, an interactive online H5P game designed to share resources, information, and tips about generative AI. The adventure is open until May 21, and all faculty and staff who complete it will be entered into a prize draw!
Also on the horizon is the Advancing Learning Conference on May 1-2. This free, virtual conference is for educators to engage in meaningful conversations, share best practices, and explore cutting-edge tools that enhance learning in post-secondary institutions across Ontario.
Don’t miss Learning Journeys: A Teaching and Learning Showcase held in the Hub on May 22, where we will celebrate the incredible work of our faculty as we showcase our successes and collectively push the boundaries of what’s possible in education.

The Hub team would like to welcome, Jessica Joy, to the team as Senior Instructional Designer! Jessica will be filling in for Sarah Wendorf, while she is on secondment until the end of 2024. Jessica has been a contract faculty in the School of Business for 6+ years and has been active in the Hub leading PD sessions and the AI Community of Practice.

Fender’s AI Adventure
Join Fender the Robot on his adventure into the world of generative AI! In this H5P interactive game map, you will explore GenAI tools, resources, ideas, and best practices. Whether you're a novice or a seasoned professional, this adventure offers something for all faculty and staff interested in GenAI.
Fender’s AI Adventure is located on the Artificial Intelligence Community of Practice Moodle page. All faculty/staff can participate, and all who complete this module by May 21st will be entered into a draw for the chance to win a prize package! The winner will be announced at the Teaching & Learning Showcase on May 22nd.
