Available Pilots for Spring 2019, Fall 2019, and Winter 2020 Semesters

There are limited pilot opportunities for spring and fall semesters as we roll out a new pilot process.

Ensemble Video Management (fall 2019 and winter 2020)

(Institution-wide access for fall 2019 and winter 2020 semesters) The Hub Team is seeking between 20 and 40 full-time or contract faculty members from diverse programs to be part of a formal pilot study. Other faculty members outside of this pilot group are welcome to experiment with Ensemble but may only have access to minimum Hub Team support. Contact Jenni Hayman.

Respondus Monitor (spring 2019, fall 2019 and winter 2020)

(1000 total student seats). Seeking interested full-time and contract faculty members teaching fully online courses to test Respondus proctoring features for online exams. Contact Jenni Hayman.

Virtual Reality Experimentation (fall 2019 and winter 2020)

(2-3 faculty members to test). Seeking faculty interested in collaborating with Jessica O’Reilly to incorporate student-facing virtual reality experiences into their current teaching practice. Contact Jessica O’Reilly to discuss potential outcomes-focused applications, to review examples of what other faculty have tried in the past, and to learn more about the virtual reality technologies and applications available in the Hub.

Zoom Web Conferencing (Adopted)

Zoom Web Conferencing is no longer in pilot stage and is now rolled out for all faculty and staff at Cambrian College. Visit the Cambrian College Remote Teaching and Learning Guide page for details on how to access and use Zoom.
