Teaching International Students – Episode 2: Classroom Practices
Should I talk louder? Slower? Should I wave my hands wildly? Or sit on them because I might be offensive? We know that classrooms filled with International Students require a different approach, but we often don’t know what kind of approach and just how different it should be. In this session, we’ll talk about the specific teaching strategies that you should (or shouldn’t) use to reach and teach International Students.
Participants will be able to reflect on their existing teaching practices and consider how they might adjust their practice to further support International student success.
