Teaching Int. Students: Faculty Expectations (Episode 1)

May 7, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Due to popular demand, Neil Shyminsky (Coordinator of English for Academic Purposes) will be reprising his three part series on Teaching International Students from last May 2018. If you missed any episodes or were unable to attend the entire series last year, now is your chance to register so you don’t miss out again

One of the most commonly recited comments about International Students is that “they knew what they signed up for”. But did they? In this session, we’ll examine some of the more prevalent assumptions that faculty holds about International Students – what they know, what they do, and how they’ve been prepared – and see how closely these match with reality.

Upon completion of the 3 episodes, participants will receive a button for their lanyard.

If you can’t attend this session, but would like to learn more, follow this link to our website.
