Session 3: Technology and Higher Education
Advances in technology and assessment have enabled a wide variety of different assessment strategies in higher education and across professions. While the field is rapidly emerging, issues of equity persist. In this session, Dr. Lopez will address how complexities of antiracism and decolonization may be considered in light of new technology-enabled assessments.

The Summit on Equity, Assessment, and Evaluation: Bringing Theory and Practice Together is designed to join academic and industry partners across Canada to focus on assessment and evaluation practices that promote a welcoming, fair, and equitable practices all students, regardless of their background or identity.
The event has four themes:

- Technology and higher education
- Assessment policy and program evaluation
